This is a fantastic starter classic Porsche. It is a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa finished in Guards Red with Black Leather interior. Is is a UK Right Hand Drive Car and is showing 71k Miles from New. This is one of the first batch of the first year of the Carrera and has its Telephone Dial Alloys and no spoiler on the boot. A very nice pure looking Targa which is ideal for the coming summer! The car appears to have been in the same ownership from new and the guy, being French, has taken the car to France for long periods. This is a very good honest car and is priced to sell!

Interior:
Our car has the optional Black Leather interior and the general condition is very good and commensurate with the mileage. The carpets are also good. All the dials and instruments seem to work as they should although the leather on the Dash top is a little worn. All in all, the interior is all good but would benefit from gentle improvements.

Exterior:
The paintwork on our car is finished in Guards Red and the condition is perfectly acceptable, not perfect but indicative of an older car. No major dings or dents but a very nice finish. A good useable car is how I would describe this. The tyres and wheels are OK but the front valance is quite stonechipped. The Targa panel is good although the Black Paint is also flaking a little.

Mechanical:
The engine starts well and drives very well with the gearbox changing smoothly. The car would benefit from a service just for your piece of mind but on our test drive the only noticeable thing was that it was a little lumpy at tickover. There are no undue knocks or rattles from the suspension. A good driving car.

Summary
This really is a very cheap price for a nice driving 911 and it about the same price as a nice MGB and I know what I what rather be driving this summer! The mileage of 71k looks to be genuine although without a full history it is difficult to say. There only appears to be one owner, certainly since 1999 and probably from new. We have priced this car to sell and fully expect the first viewer to be as impressed as we were. You could be having some great top down drives this summer!
