This is a very rare and interesting car! It is a 1959 MGA 1500 Coupe, Left Hand Drive, Finished in Red with Black Leather Interior. The car was originaly destined for the USA but was reimported to Europe many years ago and is currently Dutch Registered. It can be re-registered anywhere in the world and all EU taxes have been paid. The previous owner has had the car for over 20 years! The car has been the subject of a complete restoration in recent years although no invoices for this work are available. The quality of the work, however, speaks for itself. We have just completed a long drive in the car and can confirm that it is an absolute pleasure to drive.

Interior:
The interior of our car is in a fantastic condition and is almost as new. The seats have been retrimmed and all the carpets have been replaced in recent years. . There is absolutely nothing to address here and the car also has a nice Moto-Lita steerign wheel in place.

Exterior:
The quality of the paint on our car is extremely good although a little dull in places, it would respond well to a thorough polish. The sides of the car are very straight. All the chromework is good although there is some corrosion on the bumpers. All the glass is perfect. The original Wire Wheels are very good although the paint on the wheels has flaked off in a couple of places and would benefit from touching up.

Mechanical:
The car has obviously been comprehensively restored in the past and the car starts and drives exactly as it should. The car has no undue knocks or rattles and is ready for its next owner. The car has not been used properly for a couple of months and was a little smooky on choke but we expect a good run to clear the engine.

Summary
This is a very rare and pretty car which has been completely restored in recent years. It is Left Hand Drive therefore perfect for use on the continent or for keeping at your holiday home. The coupe is a very practical car to own and it is ready to be driven away by the new proud owner. The previous owner has had the car for over 20 years and it is available to view near Toulouse in the South of France. The price is extremely keen and a little research will show this to be outstanding value and I do not expect to have the car long!
