This is the first of these we have ever offered for sale! It is a genuine 1935 Austin 12/4 Taxi by Jones. It is an older restoration finished in Red with a Beige Cloth interior. It has all the original Taxi fittings and is ready for a great summer ahead! The car has a long MOT and has just had four new tyres and shock absorbers fitted. This is a great laundalette car to be enjoyed by the family or alternatively used to generate income by weddings or TV Hire.

Interior:
The interior of our car is finished in Beige Cloth to the rear, It is all good without any major tears or rips.The front is finished in Black Leathercloth and rubber carpeting. All the dials and instruments seem to work and the old trunks also come with the car.

Exterior:
Our car is finished in Red with Black wings and a black soft top and roof. The paint finish is very good although not perfect, being an older restoration. The wheels are good and the tyres are new. All the glass areas area also good. All in all, an extremely good looking and well presented car.

Mechanical:
The car starts and drives very well although it would benefit from more regular use. It changes gear smoothly and drives as you would expect. There have also been four new Shock Absorbers fitted recently. Nothing really to address here except a thorough service before regular use.

Summary:
These vintage Taxis have a great following and are extremely popular and in demand. This car had to be imported from the USA as there are so few available in the UK. They have many uses and are great fun to own and drive. Our car is a great older restoration with a long MOT and is ready to go. It was sold to its last owner for a lot more than we are asking so be quick as we could not find another for sale at the moment.
